Sunday Session with Brothers – 21 May16 May 2017 – posted in: Event News
This Sunday we welcome local outfit Brothers to the Cupitt Deck.
Come and enjoy this talented group by booking a table at Cupitt’s Kitchen or just find a spot on the lawn or at one of the outside tables and enjoy casual dining from 12pm. Wood Fired pizzas, Ploughmans and Cheese Platters are available.
Bearing the namesake of singer Ben Mcinerney and guitarist Tim Thomson’s relationship as brother-in-laws, this 4 piece ensemble are designed for the sole purpose of getting your feet moving straight to the dancefloor. Accompanied by bassist, Gary Yates, and drum whisperer, Wade Henry, the group combine in excess of 50 years live playing experience across the country. Having previously guided seminal indie band, ‘New Navy’, to Triple J Hottest 100 fame, McInerney’s song writing has been tried and tested on the biggest of stages. Now slinking from cutesy folk to rasta reggae grooves, the band put their own spin on everything they touch. If music is love, then brothers are making it in spades.”
Live Music returns to Cupitt’s Estate for a very special Covid-Safe show featuring Local Funk Legends Soul Tonic – tickets are essential, capacity is limited.read more
