Cupitt’s Craft Beer Microbrewery


Cupitt Craft Brewers are a  NSW South Coast Brewery.   Family owned, we take pride in producing outstanding beer in a beautiful part of the world.   We have a deep respect for the immense history and strong traditions of brewing, but don’t let that get in the way of exploring new styles and flavours. The character is paramount, as is balance, and we revel in perfecting classic styles as much as we have fun pushing the boundaries of beer.
Our brewery was established in 2014 after Wally and Tom Cupitt had dreamed for many years about opening one alongside the existing winery and restaurant.   Before Wally started making wine, he was a fanatic home brewer and honed his brewing skills with a work experience stint at the 4 Pines Brewery in Manly. Tom’s passion for craft beer stems from his time living in London, where he fell in love with traditional ales and lively beer culture. Together with Head Brewer Liam Jackson, they continue to make beer that they enjoy drinking.  All our beer is produced on the Cupitt family property and is sold almost exclusively here at our restaurant and casual bar. We hope you visit and enjoy the brews as much as the views.

Our Brewery is not open to the public (except via the behind-the-scenes Tour + Taste Experience), but our Cupitt Craft Brewers beer selection is available to sample at the Budawang Bar. We have five keg draught beer taps and one cask ale handpump beer to ensure there’s a great selection on offer.

Tasting Paddles are available and include a choice of 4 beers for $14 (equivalent to 1 pint).

Budawang Bar is open everyday from 10am until 5 pm (until 10pm Friday and Saturday nights).


We do have a limited selection of cans and bottles of some of our beers available to purchase online.  Or drop into our Cellar Door to purchase from our shop.














Milton Pilsner (4.8% ABV,  23 IBU)
Griff Cupitt works tirelessly behind the scenes here at Cupitt’s. We brew this beer for him – it’s his tipple of choice after a days work. Fermented cold with a German lager yeast, we add new-world hops for a subtle twist. Extended maturation leads to a beer that ticks all the boxes.

Mosaic Session Ale (3.5% ABV, 25 IBU)
This single hop ale features the distinctive Mosaic hop. Passionfruit and papaya aromas jump out of the glass, from an easy going package that is restrained in bitterness.

Cupitt Pale Ale (5.2% ABV, 45 IBU)
Pale Ale at the amber end of the spectrum packed full of US Cascade Hops & a nice dose of Crystal Malts mixed with the Golden Promise Base Malt.

Hoppy Haze (6.5% ABV, 40 IBU)
Juicy hops abound in this New England style hazy IPA. Low in bitterness, this beer is all about fruit-forward hop flavour and aroma, not to mention a hop-induced haze.

Oyster Stout (5.0% ABV, 39 IBU)
Sweet & salty Gold Medal winning Shoalhaven Appellation Oysters, by ‘Australia’s Oyster Coast’ contribute a salinity that cuts through the rich roast characters of the oatmeal stout, providing a lingering minerality.

Cupitt Ruby (Hand Pump)(4.2% ABV, 20 IBU)
This ruby red ale features a range of aromatic malts and is single hopped with NZ grown Riwaka. To taste there is a spectrum of red and dried fruit flavours along-side some toasted bread and toffee notes.
