Product Description

Provenance, taken from the French word ‘origin’ plays a vital role in our wine-making where we seek to capture, enhance and preserve the influences of the terroir.

These Chardonnay grapes are grown in shaly sandstone soils at an elevation of 850m in Wamboin on the eastern edge of the Canberra District wine region. This cool climate wine was made using whole bunch pressing, fermentation and maturation in premium French oak barrels, and some lees stirring.

The combination of nature and craftsmanship  has produced a mineral and complex Chardonnay with notes of fig and spice, a creamy palate and a long elegant finish.
