Possum Lodge Chardonnay Won Bronze at the Cowra Show29 August 2012 – posted in: Winery
Cupitt’s Possum Lodge Chardonnay won Bronze at the Cowra Show and was only 1 point off a Silver medal.
The Cowra Wine Show is one of the largest national wine shows held in Australia, every year attracting top class judges from Australia and overseas.
This chardonnay is made from grapes grown in the cool climate of the NSW Southern Highlands with vines founded in red/grey basalt soils.
Made in a “Chablis” style using indigenous yeasts, lees contact and without oak influence to create a fresh and zesty chardonnay.
The aroma is of white peach and citrus and on the palate you will find stone fruits with a mineral, flinty finish. Well matched with mushroom risotto, poultry and pork.
We are very excited to announce the launch of Me&u at Cupitt’s Estate! Me&u is a revolutionary technology that marks a new era in hospitality for Cupitt’s Estateread more
