Get ready for International Women’s Day 20199 February 2019 – posted in: Event News
Right now is a great and important time in history to do everything possible to help forge a more gender-balanced world. Women have come a long way, yet there’s still more to be achieved. The International Women’s Day 2019 campaign theme of #BalanceforBetter is a call-to-action for driving gender balance across the world.
This is the first (of many) International Women’s Day celebrations at Cupitt’s. We expect tickets to sell out quickly so jump to it if you want to celebrate this day with both men and women. We have partnered with “The Women’s Connection” a new sub-group of the Milton Ulladulla Business Chamber aimed at connecting like-minded women in the local business community. Whether you’re employed, self-employed or looking to get back into the workforce, this group will provide events and opportunities to connect with and learn from other women in the community.
The event will be not only celebrate women but delicious food and wine! You will also hear from three speakers to inspire you throughout the day.
Libby Cupitt will commence with a discussion around social media presence and entering industry awards – why Cupitts do it and why it could be great for you too.
Anna Finch from Kardia HR will talk about her changing towards better balance and achieving a day working week and successful small business at the same time.
Rosie Cupitt is the keynote speaker and her topic will be ‘Winging it and being brave plus how you all make a family business work’
