Katie J White took out the 2016 West Australian Music Industry Song Of The Year Award for the Blues and Roots category with her song ‘River’. Katie and her band have played all the main folk, roots and world music festivals in Western Australia over the past two years.
Originally from Denmark WA, Katie’s music has taken her as far as London. Her beautiful voice and award winning poetry really shines through, and supported by her acoustic guitar she creates a warm and welcoming environment. Her band on the other hand, fronted by Katie on bass guitar, supported by electric guitar, keys and drums, brings a seriously rockin’ groove to a scene, with big vocals and contagious rhythms.
While you’re enjoying the tunes, don’t forget to make a booking in our award-winning restaurant, Cupitt’s Kitchen. If you can’t tear yourself away from tunes, find a spot on the lawn and enjoy our Budawang Bar menu and wood-fired pizzas.
Our craft beers and local wine are available to go along with the sensational views of Burrill Lake and the surrounding countryside. The Cellar Door is open 10am-5pm for wine tasting.
