What is the Kerfuffle about truffles?
The truffle is no longer only associated with the type of diner who eats caviar for breakfast and feeds foie gras to the cats. This great food is getting more accessible to everyone not just Bentley owners. A fresh truffle has a pungent, earthy aroma that tastes like nothing else. Everyone should experience an Australian black truffle at least once and preferably many times after that.
Australia is now the fourth-biggest producer of the black perigold truffle. The pungent aroma of the truffle is something that gets most chefs very excited. Truffles have a very limited season and events like this cannot happen everyday. This is your chance to indulge in the special flavours and intoxicating aromas of truffle dishes at a local Shoalhaven restaurant
