Coronavirus-conscious ways to show your mum you love her this Mother’s Day30 April 2020 – posted in: Event News, Uncategorized
Mother’s Day is just around the corner. Why not arrange a virtual lunch, leave a treat on her doorstep or have a remote movie date
The team at Cupitt’s Estate have always been committed to delighting you and your loved ones for special occasions. These turbulent times are no different!
No doubt this Mother’s Day will be peculiar, with everyone mandated to avoid socialising and stay at home. For many of us, physically catching up with our mothers will not be possible. Do not despair, there are many ways we can show love and connect with our mothers from a distance.
If there is one thing we firmly believe at Cupitt’s is that great food and wine and can see us through any forced isolation period. With that in mind, we have created a few different gift packs for mum, each includes our favourite French liquid Soap so she can be reminded of how wonderful her child is with every wash.
Arrange a virtual lunch or lunch together!
Lunches or a catch up over wine need not be forbidden this year, you and your mum can still have a memorable lunch date. Thanks to the plethora of video-call and video-meetings apps out there like zoom and skype – it has never been easier to organise a virtual hang.
If your mum lives locally to Cupitt’s Estate we have made this even more straightforward for you. You can order the Mother’s Day Lunch Date pack and add a wine that you both love. Now with regulations relaxed you can enjoy it together, hooray!
We have two special dining options for our local mums – a fancy three-course meal for two or a family feast for four. The meals are sold as almost ready-to-eat kits, with basic assembly and simple home heating instructions included – so any the lucky diners can ‘Heat & Eat’ at their leisure.
We also have a High Tea Package available with an assortment of sweet treats baked in our with a Bottle of bubbles. Details to be released Saturday 2nd May – stay tuned.
Remote movie date
Is there a movie that you and your mum connect with or one you wished you saw at the cinema together? This Mother’s Day, you can pick a film, press play simultaneously, and then exchange witty observations and emojis over WhatsApp or your favourite communication tool. A way to connect together for a couple of hours. Why not enjoy a glass or two of your favourite wine with some cheese at the same time?
Record a tribute to her
With so many mums getting computer savvy, now is the perfect time to say farewell to posting a card and record a special tribute. You can sing, dance, read a poem just like when you were a kid or record a special message from your heart. This is the perfect way to make our mum smile and win your place as the favourite child. Win-win.
