Again this year, the South Coast will have reason to celebrate as we have two local finalists ready to showcase our diverse offering for tourists, at the National Tourism Awards!
We are national finalists in the Tourism Wineries, Breweries and Distilleries category, while the Mollymook Beach Waterfront is a finalist again for the 4th time in the hotly contested Hosted Accommodation category. The awards recognise and promote excellence in tourism and will take place in Perth this evening.
Rosie Cupitt says, “We feel humbled to be among so many worthy finalists throughout Australia and couldn’t be more proud to be representing the Shoalhaven and South Coast and more widely the whole of NSW. Our region is currently thriving in Food Tourism, and this really is just the beginning.”
Ken Banks, owner of the Mollymook Beach Waterfront has long flown the flag for local tourism businesses and believes that “as you enter the Mollymook Milton Ulladulla area you are arriving in one of the most wonderful, active, picturesque and inviting places on the whole of the NSW coastline, full of great tourism businesses”
We were both overall winners in our categories at the NSW Tourism Awards held last November in Sydney. Winners from 26 of the award categories have advanced to the 2017 QANTAS Australian Tourism Awards to be held at the Perth Stadium tonight, Friday 23rd February 2018.
Wish us luck!
