AN UPDATE FROM ROSIE CUPITT
At Cupitt’s Estate, we have been listening to Government advice and regulations relating to Covid 19 as it has come to hand. As we benefit from our outdoor environment, up until now, we have been able to continue to offer space for our guests to dine and interact at a reasonable distance in the fresh air and natural daylight. Unfortunately, the Government has needed to ramp up the regulations, and we no longer can offer this.
We have now also closed the Cellar Door and will only be trading for sales that can be delivered to your door.
We do hope in these uncertain times you continue to enjoy the small pleasures in life. We have our full range of wine and beer offering on our website shop. We also are fully stocked with our artisan cheeses which locals can have delivered. Some cheese also travels well via Express Post; if some of our friends from further afield are interested?
Our kitchen garden is teaming with delicious fresh produce and Cupitt’s Produce Boxes are now available. We also have a range of Chef-prepared meals to ‘Heat and Eat’ at home. The best way to keep abreast of these innovations will be to join us on Facebook or Instagram. Alternatively, contact us to join the mailing list for Veggie Boxes and other news.
Our teams are working very hard in order to put together a local delivery service. We ask for your patience as our menu/ordering strategy/logistics evolve and change over the next few weeks. In essence, we built our current business over 13 years and are now pulling together this new arm within hours. It may not be as refined as we would like to begin with, but our objective is to continue to serve our local community with food, wine, beer, cheese and ingredients from our farm.
Life as we know has changed, but at Cupitt’s Estate we want to ensure that our attitude towards enjoying the simple pleasures of life do not have to be lost entirely.
This is not an easy time for anyone. As you know, we are a family business within a large team of passionate, hardworking people and proud members of our beautiful community. The health and well-being of our customers and staff have, and always will be an absolute priority. We all have to do our part to help Australia’s efforts to stem the spread of COVID-19.
