We are excited that we can finally open our doors and facilitate human connection through great food, drinks and service.
The NSW Government has announced the first stage of easing restrictions from 15 May including that cafes and restaurants can seat ten patrons at any one time. From Saturday 16 May the restaurant at Cupitt’s Estate will open to take bookings for up to 10 people. We will accept all booking sizes as long as we can comply with the ten patrons at a time.
We are very fortunate to have a large spacious dining room so we can create a unique dining experience overlooking the vineyard and maintain physical distancing requirements.
Cupitt’s Estate Restaurant will be operating an $80 Tasting Menu which will highlight produce made and grown on-site and can be paired with our wine and beer. Bookings can be made through our online reservation system at 12pm, 2pm, 5.45pm and 7.45pm. Each booking will be allocated 90 minutes; however, diners for the 12pm and 5.45pm sitting can arrive half an hour before their reservation if they would like to enjoy a wine flight or aperitif. Diners will be required to pay for the menu upon booking, and additional costs need to be paid with a card at the table, no cash payments.
The Cupitt’s Estate Tasting Menu will take you through multiple courses showcasing the produce grown and made on site. The menu will change regularly and will highlight the cheese made in the Fromagerie, and produce in the Cupitt’s Kitchen Garden. The multi-course tasting menu allows us to give you the full Cupitt’s Estate experience, and for you to experience multiple flavours and textures. Our tasting menu can be altered to accommodate special requests such as no meat, no seafood, allergies, gluten-free and other dietary requirements. Please advise when you book and also when you order.
What days is Cupitt’s Estate open for restaurant bookings?
We are opening the restaurant Thursday to Sunday – lunch and dinner with two sittings.
What if I don’t eat everything on the Tasting Menu?
Please review the menu before your booking and let our staff know of any dislikes and allergies.
Is the Cellar Door Open for Wine Tasting?
Due to Covid-19 regulations we cannot offer wine tastings in the Cellar Door. We can sell takeaway wine and beer. We are offering a wine tasting flight which can be enjoyed when dining at Cupitt’s. This includes 4 wines (50ml) for $20. We offer white wine, red wine and mixed flight options.
I am not ready to dine in restaurants but want to enjoy the menu, are you offering takeaway?
We have a take-home menu available for diners wanting to take home meals, wine, beer and cheese. This is also available for anyone who is not dining in the restaurant but would like to have a Cupitt’s Experience at home.
Do you have a kids menu available?
Due to the restriction on the restaurant to only ten patrons, we are not offering our kids menu at this time. We hope as the restrictions continue to ease; we can welcome children back to the restaurant.

Will you continue to sell ‘heat and eat’ meals for home?
Yes, we will continue to sell chef-prepared frozen meals and meal kits for a Cupitt’s at Home experience.
Are we still delivering food and drinks to the local community?
Yes, we will continue to deliver, but our delivery schedule will change, and more details are to follow around this.
Are produce boxes still available?
The produce boxes are no longer available. The chefs will be using these fresh seasonal ingredients to create delicious meals to dine in and take away.
What staff practices are in place to prevent COVID-19?
Cupitt’s Estate staff will adhere to strict hygiene practices throughout their shift, including regular handwashing and sanitising between visiting tables. Tables and seating will be sanitised after every booking. No water bottles or salt and peppers will be on the table. Our friendly staff will provide this for you on request.
What customer practices are in place to prevent COVID-19?
Everyone has an obligation to stay at home while displaying any symptoms such as fever or coughing. Businesses have the right to refuse service and insist that anyone with these symptoms leaves the premises. We have also the following procedures in place for the protection of our staff and other patrons:
- We need to know the name, email address and contact number for every diner – please fill out our survey prior to your reservation.
- There will be hand sanitiser available outside the restaurant; please use before you enter.
- Wait for the host to take you to your seats.
- The menu will be yours to keep; otherwise, it will be disposed of.
- Please do not offer a handshake or touch any of the Cupitt’s Estate staff.
- If you use the bathrooms, please use the sanitiser provided before you enter and once you exit the restrooms.
- Please physically distance yourself at 1.5m as you move around the restaurant from other guests.
- Please pay your account at the table with a credit card.
- Exit the restaurant from the ‘Exit Only’ door, not the entry door.
