CUPITT’S WINERY HOSTED THE REGIONS FIRST LONG TABLE BIGGEST MORNING TEA TO RAISE FUNDS FOR CANCER COUNCIL
Cupitt’s Winery hosted the region’s Biggest Morning Tea on Saturday May 30 joining the National Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea and to help the Cancer Council raise vital funds for cancer prevention, research and support services.
Revellers enjoyed delicious morning tea treats like scones, carrot cake and brownies and Cupitt’s donated 20% of all Morning Tea sales to the Cancer Council. The Stall holders and Cupitt’s Winery donated many wonderful items including fresh produce, soaps, plants, flowers, chutney, sauces, gift cards, Fudge, cupcakes and wine to raffle that was won by Chris Coffey to the delight of his young daughters.
The growers market has become a monthly tradition for the community and a fantastic event for visitors to the area. We were so happy with the turn out on Saturday and how many people were very willing to support the Cancer Council, we are very happy with the fundraising efforts considering the market only trades for 2 hours. We will be making this a permanent fixture on our events calendar.
