Fundraiser for Noah’s Inclusion Services31 January 2019 – posted in: Event News, Winery, Craft Ales

On Australia Day, Cupitt’s held an event to raise funds for Noah’s Inclusion Services.
The $6,110 raised will be used to enhance and extend the Aboriginal Playgroup services available for families.
Julie Munley is the event Co-ordinator at Noah’s and said ‘we are absolutely thrilled that you have chosen us to benefit from your wonderful event. Thank you so much, your support will make a real difference.
The aim of our Aboriginal playgroups is to support Aboriginal families in their important role as carers for their young children while sharing cultural knowledge and language. Weekly ‘Yarn Times‘ focus on helping children to develop their early language skills – listening, talking, singing – to ensure that they are ready for reading. The playgroups are a vital community service for Aboriginal families to connect and support each other.’
Our Australia Day celebrations included live music from Local Favourites Soul Tonic. Soul Tonic is a 7 piece band that had the crowd on their feet playing everyone’s favourite soul, funk, R&B and Motown hits; from Stevie Wonder to Jamiroquai.

Our New Years Day fundraiser was cancelled due to the Bushfire Emergency, part of this fundraiser was a raffle for the local RFS units. This took place on Australia Day and raised over $5000. Huge thank you to all the businesses and individuals who generously donated prizes and to everyone who bought tickets.
It was such a fun day, the atmosphere was wonderful and fun was had across all ages. Thank you to all who bought tickets. We sincerely hope you had a great day.
