2020 Vintage Wine Releases11 December 2020 – posted in: Uncategorized
Taint from Bushfire did not only impact our vineyard in 2020 but also all the fruit from all the vineyards we source fruit in NSW. Sadly Hilltops, Orange, Canberra, and Tumburumba were also affected by the fires.
Fortunately, our close friend, winemaker/consultant Nicole Esdaile came to our rescue so we could still have a 2020 vintage and we will be forever grateful. We are very excited about the release of some of the 2020 vintage this summer.
This year 2020 Rosie’s Rosé was produced with Shiraz fruit sourced from the Nagambie Lake District. This Rosé is fresh and vibrant with bright fruit moving to a satisfyingly, crisp and dry finish. Perfect for a South Coast summer afternoon.
Another new release is the MRV made with three classic French varieties Marsanne, Rousanne and Viognier sourced from Heathcote, Victoria. The grapes were whole bunch pressed and matured in large French oak puncheons for 8 months. It is a highly aromatic wine with citrus and melon on the palate and a mineral, flinty finish. We predict this one is going to fly out the door.
We will be announcing some more new releases over the next few months, so stay tuned to find out what else will be joining our 2020 vintage line up!
